Instructions For A Bad Day by Shane Koyczan

Hi there, today I decided to post an inspirational poem by Sane Koyczan. I hope it will cheer you up a bit if you are a bit down like me. Instructions For A Bad Day by Shane Koyczan "There will be bad days. Be calm. Loosen your grip, opening each palm slowly now. Let go. Be confident. Know that now is only a moment, and that if today is as bad as it gets, understand that by tomorrow, today will have ended. Be gracious. Accept each extended hand offered, to pull you back from the somewhere you cannot escape. Be diligent. Scrape the gray sky clean. Realize every dark cloud is a smoke screen meant to blind us from the truth, and the truth is whether we see them or not - the sun and moon are still there and always there is light. Be forthright. Despite your instinct to say "it's alright, I'm okay" - be honest. Say how you feel without fear or guilt, without remorse or complexity. Be lucid in your explanation, be sterling in your oppose. If you think for one se

It's never too late to choose the happiness flow in your life, let go the past and be positive about now. Realize that the most valuable moment we have is the present one and yet hope for the future one. If you had a rough start of the year, just like me, don't be in despair, reevaluate your situation and move on. Know that you're not alone at being alone, I'm sending you a thousand hugs from my heart to your heart and hope that tomorrow you will find that missing piece in your life! Let us cherish those moments of revelation because they are the force behind our positive change. Let us wish for the best in 2014, best of luck, best of friends and best of love.

Have faith

Have faith that everything happens for a reason. Every experience is a lesson, every person is a teacher that will make us better and self-fulfiled. Have faith that everything that happens will lead to something better. Even when it seems that we're loosing people, others will come to their places. Don't force anything. Life's not to be forces, everything happens naturally, if you force it, you may not be ready to receive it.

Power of affirmations

Affirmations are short phrases that can help you develop a positive mindset. It's important to create the right affirmations and repeat them daily. I started doing this ritual, the first thing in the morning for me is repeating one or two positive affirmations and I've noticed that my energy levels and attitude has changed. The secret of affirmations is that by repeating them, you start believing them and making them reality. Here are some examples you could use: I am courageous and I stand for myself. I take control over my life and accept its abundance. I believe in the flow of life and let it show my better self. I accept the love around me. Life is full of pleasant surprises and I'm ready for them. I'm in perfect health, I feel energetic and young.

Cheer it up

There come some bitter days from time to time. They make us appreciate the good days. To be honest, I had a rough day and there's no particular reason for that. I realized it's ok not to be ok from time to time. That's part of life and we should accept it. In such moments, one learns to notice the attempts of the other people to make us happy again. But noticing is not enough, one must appreciate them and be truly thankful that such people are by one's side in those blue days. Don't forget that there are people you can cheer up, too. When you see that one's not smiling as usual, cheer that person. Smile, hug or just kindly greet him. Your small contribution to that person's grumpy day may turn everything up. In a good way, of course. Good attitude always beats the bad one. Not instantly, but for sure, it does.

Living your dream

http://news7.bg/Още-нещо/Супер-Марио-един-българин-в-немските-авиолинии_l.baa_i.36226_b.5439.html Today I decided to share a very motivational story about a pilot who is waking up every morning and is living his dream! Mario wanted to be a pilot since he was 3 and now, almost 30 years later, he surpassed his biggest dreams because he's not only a pilot for Lufthansa but he's supervising and training the future pilots for the company. If you think that his father is a pilot, too, you're wrong. Becoming a pilot was his own choice and the path he had to walk to make it happen wasn't easy. When he was 15, the doctors said his vision is not as good as it should be but luckily it got better with time. His student years weren't the usual years of the popular party boy because Mario was responsible enough to set his priorities and study as hard as possible. His efforts paid off and he's one of the rare examples of people who are willing to wake up because they are fu

Importance to be supportive

No matter if the day was bad or good for you, it would be brighter if you helped somebody. Don't ever underestimate the power of small deeds, they may become as powerful as a wave, growing bigger and bigger. Even if your try to help someone was not understood, keep on doing it, don't give up. Be consistent, be kind, be grateful. Every day with no exceptions. Trust me, one day you will look back and realize it was all worth the efforts. You may be tired of reading it, but I will write  it again: Be the change you wish to see in the world! Act as a role model. Imagine what impact your example can have. It's a massive change to a more humane society. Be that change you want to see, respond with a smile and positive attitude to every offense that comes your way. The future lies in your present actions, don't let it slip away! Seize the day!
